Shandy Campos - Straight to Whistler
Somehow I stranded in Whistler without really knowing anybody before I would link up a few days later with Michi Albin again. I’d bump into Shandy Campus and a few other guys who took me out there with them. It was the first time I was sledding in the real backcountry and it was brutal.
But sure enough the motivation did not suffer from it. Shandy sending this one out full throttle. In the background you can see Whistler.
This shot ended up being my first and only poster in Transworld Snowboarding magazine in 1999.
